- The teenager is accused of posing as a window washer before robbing woman

A teenage boy accused of snatching a kind-hearted woman's handbag after washing her windscreen at a set of traffic lights has been charged.
The 16-year-old boy offered to clean the woman's white Hatchpoint car when she stopped at an intersection in Kewdale, Perth, on June 12.
But after wiping her windscreen, police allege the teenager yanked open the passenger's door and ran off with her handbag.
A fellow driver who witnessed the alleged robbery chased the teenager, who was joined by a younger boy, until he dumped the handbag.
CCTV footage obtained by 7News captured the brazen incident.
The accused thief can be seen running towards the back of a bottle shop, while the other boy in a black hoodie flees on a bike.
A 13-year-old Kewdale boy has been issued with juvenile cautions for allegedly pretending to be a window washer with the boy.
The 16-year-old will front Perth's Children Court on July 12 charged with theft.

Bottle shop owner Adam O' Brien, whose business is located at the intersection, said he was fed up with juvenile crime in the area.
'It's just a really bad look on local businesses,' Mr O'Brien said.
Western Australia police say standing at an intersection and cleaning windscreens is illegal.
Those who commit the offence could face court or be given a $50 fine.
