Blasting your way up some rural road on a motorcycle is definitely not without its hazards, as you also never know what type of situation might arise that could force you to take evasive action.

Such a scenario unfolded in Brazil where two motorcycle riders were clearly speeding while traveling behind a four-door Mercedes-Benz model (hard to identify given the poor quality of the video). We just hope nobody was seriously injured.

A worrying sight

First of all, there are a lot of factors to consider here. For one, we have two riders traveling at over 180 km/h (111 mph) at certain points, where one of them even has a passenger who doesn’t appear to be wearing any protective body gear other than a helmet. In fact, they seem to be wearing just jeans and a t-shirt.

Another observation would be the cammer’s speed at the exact point in time where the first rider crashes their bike. The readout indicates 150 km/h (93 mph), which is not only illegal (still), but also a lot in a situation where you’re being forced to react to multiple visual stimuli, including the crash ahead, the slow traffic, the semi truck on the opposite side of the road and so on.

As far as the cammer is concerned, crashing into that field was definitely an “upgrade” as opposed to scraping the asphalt. Overall though, we’re mostly worried about the passenger of the first motorcycle. That type of fall without any body gear can cause a great deal of skin damage and it can easily be fatal too.

Last and probably least is the Mercedes saloon, which didn’t get off unscathed either as it was impacted by the out-of-control motorbike of the first rider.
