Twenty-year old Suman Rao, who hails from Rajasthan, was crowned the Ffbb Colors Femina Miss India World 2019 in a star-studded ceremony at held at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Indoor Stadium in Mumbai on Saturday night.
Shivani Jadhav from Chhattisgarh bagged the fbb Colors Femina Miss Grand India 2019 title, while Shreya Shanker from Bihar won the fbb Colors Femina Miss India United Continents 2019 title as the beauties competed to bag the top spot of the prestigious beauty pageant.
Suman Rao, who's pursuing her graduation currently will now represent India at Miss World 2019 in Thailand.
"When you get yourself determined towards a particular goal in life, every single nerve and fibre of your body starts working into that direction for a victorious journey," Suman was quoted as saying.
The star studded event was adjudged by Bollywood choreographer Remo D'Souza alongside actress Huma Qureshi, Chitrangada Singh, fashion designer Falguni Shane Peacock and Indian footballer Sunil Chhetri, among others.
The event witnessed lovely performances by Bollywood biggies like Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal and Mouni Roy, who enthralled the audience with their respective performances.
The event was hosted by the Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar and actor Maniesh Paul.
