Two weeks after minor girl murder in Aligarh’s Tappal, unidentified woman’s body found near Yamuna Expressway

AGRA: Almost two weeks after the body of a 2.5 year-old brutally murdered girl was found in Aligarh’s Tappal area, another mutilated body of a middle aged woman was discovered in a deserted plot in Simrautti village near Yamuna Expressway on Sunday.
According to Tappal police, the woman’s body was wrapped in a black polythene and it was spotted by some local residents. Police said, prima facie, the body had been dumped at the spot after killing the woman.
Local Forensic Science Lab (FSL) team was called for taking samples as liquid was found near the woman’s body. Police said the deceased woman was about 40-year-old and was wearing a Saree and a blouse. She appeared married as she had “kangans” on her wrists.
Talking to TOI, Tappal circle officer Sanjeev Dixit, said that body will be sent for post mortem and further investigations are on to identify the deceased and her killers.
