West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee has decided to skip Niti Aayog's meeting which will take place on June 15 at Rashtrapati Bhavan. The chief minister has reportedly dubbed the meet as "futile", saying the "Aayog has no financial powers to support state plans." Mamata's move is being seen as a part of politics as she has been attacking Prime Minister Narendra Modi on several occasions and criticizing the policies of Centre in past. On the other hand, Madhya Pradesh chief minister Kamal Nath has invited chief ministers of Congress-ruled states at his residence in the national capital.
