United Methodist Church announces last day of Sunday School is June 16

FALL RIVER - United Methodist Church, 600 Highland Ave., announced that June 16 is the final day for Sunday School (to resume in the fall). The children will be participating in all parts of the service.

The children's choir will sing “10,000 Reasons,” there will be readings from the Old Testament, readings from the New Testament and the pre-schoolers perform a skit called  “Forgiving Father.”

Worship service is followed by light refreshments, free to all in the social hall.

Large print Bibles are available on request.

The choir will be resting over the summer and will return in the fall.

The nursery is open for parents who need to use it during the service. It is not supervised by the church.  Any questions or concerns, call the church at 508-676-3091, before 1 p.m., or leave a message.

On Monday evenings at 6:30 p.m., the prayer group “Sweet Hour of Prayer” meets and all are welcome.
