Ankit Bhati, Co-Founder and CTO, said in a statement, "We are very excited about launching Ola’s Advanced Technology Center in the Bay Area. The Valley and the talent ecosystem here are very conducive to the development of next-generation mobility solutions."

SoftBank-backed Ola would have to switch their 40% of the vehicle as electric by 2023, Reuters quoted a source and records of government meetings around new rules for clean mobility.
