A 25-year-old man has been charged over a series of indecent assaults in Brisbane's north.

Police said the Griffin man allegedly indecently assaulted five separate women, aged between 21 and 32, in various stores at a Hamilton Road shopping centre in Chermside on Tuesday.

He has been charged with five counts of sexual assault and was expected to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on July 1.
