Mohali SSP shuffles 31 cops

MOHALI: In a major re-shuffle in Mohali, senior superintendent of police (SSP) Harcharan Singh Bhullar transferred 31 cops, including 14 SHOs, on Thursday.
Calling it a routine exercise, the SSP said, "There is no specific reason for the transfers. Some of the inspectors at police lines had to be brought to active policing and those serving for a long time shifted there."

The SHOs of Zirakpur, Nayagaon, Kharar city, Kharar Sadar, Kurali city, Kurali Sadar, Mullanpur, Balongi, Derabassi, Dhakoli, Lalru and Phase 8 have been changed. The police post and traffic in-charges have also been shifted.
With this, inspector Gurcharan Singh has been posted as Zirakpur SHO. He was earlier Lalru SHO. Inspector Dalvir Singh has been given the charge of Nayagaon SHO. Earlier, he was Dhakoli SHO. Inspector Gurjeet Singh has been posted as Kharar city SHO. Before this, he was Zirakpur SHO. Inspector Bhagwant Singh is now Kurali city SHO. He has been shifted from Kharar city. Inspector Gurdev Singh has been shifted from Nayagaon to Mullanpur as its SHO. Inspector Rajesh Hasteer, Mullanpur SHO, and inspector Gabbar Singh, Phase VIII SHO, have been shifted to police lines, Mohali.
