McLaren GT About To Tour Europe – Get Your Cheque Books Ready

The new McLaren GT will go on a European tour starting next week, June 17, where it will be showcased at official retailers in 18 out of 25 possible locations, across 11 markets.

The tour will kick off in the UK, after which the British supercar will visit several other countries, including the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France and Spain. These events will give buyers the chance to see the car in person ahead of production.

Joining the GT on tour will be the full McLaren range, meaning Sports, Super and Ultimate Series models, beginning with the 204 mph (328 km/h) 570S and the recently-launched 720S Spider, to the track-bred McLaren Senna, a car capable of accelerating from 0 to 124 mph (200 km/h) in just 6.8 seconds.

“The McLaren GT is designed with long-range touring in mind, so a Grand Tour of the European continent is entirely fitting for our exciting new model, which will open up our brand to an important sector of the high-performance car market. We would like to invite McLaren customers and followers to visit us on the McLaren GT’s summer Grand Tour, which will be a great opportunity to admire the new car’s elegant design as well as a chance to discover more about the whole McLaren range,” said McLaren managing director for Europe, David Gilbert.

The McLaren summer Grand Tour is coming to the following locations: Bristol/Birmingham and Leeds (June 17), London/Ascot and Manchester (June 20), Utrecht (June 25), New Forest (June 26), Glasgow and Brussels (June 27), Hamburg, Frankfurt and Lugano (July 2), Munich, Dusseldorf and Milan (July 4), Zurich, Stuttgart and Barcelona (July 10), Paris (July 17).
