Samsung Galaxy Note 10 to launch in August, Apple iPhones in September and Google Pixel 4 in October: Leak

It reveals the possible launch months of upcoming smartphones by Apple, Samsung and Google.

The touted launch months are in-line with the company's usual launch routines.

There are multiple smartphone launches to look forward to this year. Apple will announce its new iPhones, Samsung is gearing up to launch its Note 10 series of handsets and Google recently revealed that its Pixel 4 phones are in the works. While there’s no confirmation on when these handsets will be announced, we have a general idea based on previous launch timelines followed by these companies. Cementing speculation, tipster Evan Blass has posted an image of Verizon’s 2019 roadmap, which gives a slightly better idea of when these companies might be announcing their flagship smartphones.

The image posted by the tipster seems to be Verizon’s marketing calendar for this year, which hints at the possible launch months of some of the upcoming ‘Tier 1 Devices’. As per the image, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 might be announced around late August, while the iPhone launch is set for a September. The Google Pixel 4 launch is stated for October. However, None of these launch dates are surprising since the Galaxy Note 9 was launched in August last year and Apple is known to host its iPhone launches in September. As for Google, it unveiled its Pixel 3 line-up in October 2018 and is expected to stick to the same routine.

Speaking of the Google Pixel 4, the company recently posted an official image of its Pixel 4 on Twitter. In a bid to silence leaksters, the company decided to unveil some of the handset’s design features by showcasing its rear panel. The image shows a square-shaped rear-camera module on the Pixel 4, which features dual sensors and a dual-tone LED flash. There’s also a cutout above the two sensors for what is speculated to be either a Time-of-Flight, or a spectral sensor. The rear glass panel of the phone is also different this time and unlike the Pixel 3, there’s no two-tone texture or frosted glass on the bottom. You can read more about the phone here.
