The DCW has issued notices to the police seeking information on brothels which are running on G.B. Road.
“Several girls have been trafficked and sexually exploited for commercial purposes. However, the brothels continue to operate with impunity on G.B. Road. Please provide year-wise details of number of women rescued,” read the notice. Authorities have been told to respond by June 25.
