ISRO confirms Gaganyaan manned space mission with 3 crew members by 2022

Indian Space Research Organisation, soon after announcing Chandrayaan-2 mission details, has now announced their latest manned mission to space which will launch off in 2022. The important point to note here is that this will be the first fully made-in-India manned to space with 3 crew members. The mission will be called "Gaganyaan". In a tweet made by ANI, Union Minister of State for Atomic Energy and Space Jitendra Singh has stated that on the eve of 75th Independence anniversary of India in 2022, ISRO will be sending its first human Mission into space, it could be before 2022. Additionally, an exclusive special cell has been created as well - Gaganyaan National advisory council to monitor planning and preparation for the manned mission.
