Australia-based brand Quest Apartment Hotels is preparing to open its first European property in Liverpool in September.
Centrally located on the UK city’s Church Street, Quest Liverpool will have 100 keys across studios, one-bed and two-bed apartments.
All rooms have Smart TVs, kitchenettes and king-size beds. The property also offers a gym, conference room and outdoor barbecue area.
A daily housekeeping service is included except on Sundays and public holidays. Reception is open from 0700 to 2300.
Quest has 170 properties across Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.
It said there was “growing demand for alternative accommodation options” in Europe, where it plans to grow its presence to between eight and 12 properties over the next five years.
Quest is part of Ascott Limited, a Singaporean company that also owns brands Ascott, Citadines, Somerset, The Crest Collection, Lyf, Vertu, Harris, Fox and Yello.
Paul Constantinou, founder and Chairman of Quest, said: “The work we are doing to build a great team in Liverpool and laying foundations with expert strategic partners in Cycas Hospitality demonstrates our commitment to realising the potential of the extended stay market in the UK.”
The company says it has made a £10 million investment in the six-storey Liverpool property, which was announced in 2017.
Bookings are now open for a planned September launch.
