New Album in the making?

Much to her fans’ delight Nicki Minaj is back on twitter but with a cryptic message. The Good Form rapper returned to social media platform after weeks of silence hinting at new music on the way. She wrote ‘Megatron’ on her twitter handle and also posted the same word in her Instagram story. Nicki previously rapped about Megatron being a nickname for herself on Future’s 2018 track Transformer. 

“Some call me Nicki but some call me Megatron/ I’m stoppin’ bags and I don’t need a red octagon,” she rhymed. 

These posts came two days after Live Nation released their tour dates. It was rumoured that this tour was a joint summer tour of Nicki and Chris Brown. When her name was not listed, there were speculations whether she dropped out of the tour. According to sources, even though Nicki was in talks for the tour, it never materialised since she was working on her music and had also recently concluded her European tour. Further, going on another such tour would have been not only been taxing but it would have also come in her way of studio time.
