4 thrash two men accused of slaughtering cow

RAJKOT: Two persons booked for slaughtering of a cow were attacked by four persons at Darbargadh Chowk in Bhuj of Kutch district on Tuesday. Police said the incident occurred when Amad Mokha (27) and his brother Gani Mokha (25) were returning home on their bike after appearing before a court in Bhuj in regard to the case.
“The accused, identified as Jai Bhatia, Nanaiyo, Manish and Bhikha, arrived in a car and a bike along with unidentified associates and intercepted the duo on the bike. They launched an attack on them accusing the Mokha brothers of being into beef trade. The assailants and beat them up with bats and iron pipes,” said an official.
