Om Prakash Mishra has assumed charge as Chief General Manager, State Bank of India (SBI), Hyderabad Circle.

He takes over from J Swaminathan who has been elevated as Deputy Managing Director of the Bank and posted in Corporate Centre, Mumbai.

Mishra joined SBI as a Probationary officer in 1987 in Patna Circle. He has vast experience in banking operations in various capacities. Mishra worked as General Manager (NW-I) Guwahati Circle and also as General Manager (NW-I) Delhi Circle, according to a release.
