Hair-raising photographs have emerged of an Asian couple tying the knot on a cliff face, risking their lives to get the perfect wedding snap. 

The bride and groom were captured in a post-nuptial photo shoot at Diamond Bay in the ritzy Sydney eastern euburb of Vaucluse on Thursday afternoon.  

The bride wore a billowing white gown with a long train, a low back, spaghetti straps and lace detailing with a short white veil. 

Many Asian couples are now opting to have their wedding photos done overseas in front of famous landmarks such as the Sydney Opera House, in Sydney, or Big Ben, in London.

The cliff face is a popular destination for tourists and locals to snap the perfect Instagram photo.   

Diamond Bay is also frequented by visitors hoping to catch a glimpse of wales, with many Humpback sightings off the coast. 

It's also home to some interesting rock formations, with a rock archway famous among tourists to perfectly frame their photos. 

The reserve can be accessed through the corner of Diamond Bay Road and Craig Avenue in Vaucluse.
