Motorists warned of 'poor' driving conditions
Take care out there!
Drivers urged to take care after crash
It’s still quite wet out there this morning. Traffic Wales is asking people to take extra care this morning. It comes after a crash on the A55 in Gwynedd.
Trains cancelled
Trains appear to still be cancelled between Chester and Crewe due to flooding. There’s also problems on the line between Prestatyn and Flint due to a fault with some barriers at a level crossing - that issue is not thought to be weather related though.
Yellow weather warning
A yellow weather warning is in place today until noon. It covers all of North Wales apart from Anglesey.
Some heavy rain is expected to persist into early Thursday morning and, given recent very wet weather, may cause flooding in a few places. Mostly 10 to 20 mm of rain is expected early Thursday, though in a few places 30 to 40 mm is possible, most likely over high ground in northeastern Wales.
