Axis recommends Mondal as third executive director

MUMBAI: Pralay Mondal is set to be elevated as the third executive director to the board of Axis Bank. The bank’s board recommended his name in its last meeting, and the appointment awaits central bank approval. It is likely that the approval will come within a month. Mondal joined Axis Bank in April and is the group executive and head of retail banking. He is likely to be designated as executive director in charge of retail banking. Currently, Rajiv Anand is ED in charge of wholesale banking.
