Croatia’s Dubrovnik earns 1,122 million kn from public toilets

In 2018 the Dubrovnik public cleaning company had revenue of over 1 million Kuna from public toilets. One visit to the public toilet in the city is seven Kuna, so doing the rough mathematics that means that around 160,000 visitors paid to relieve themselves in the public toilets. There are three public toilets situated around the city, and the city saw a revenue of 1,122 million Kuna from these toilets, writes Dubrovacki Vjesnik.

 

 

They are equipped with a sophisticated high-quality billing system in accordance with state-of-the-art technological solutions, fully automated. Most of the interior spaces are coated with stainless steel and a so-called “anti-vandal” system that actually prevents the breakup and destruction of the inventory, commented the public cleaning company.
