- It will happen across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane CBD on June 13 and 14
- Nicknamed 'Bloody Good Friday' they hope to get 99k new donators this year

For one day only Australians can get free Gelato Messina ice cream, a 'donor' kebab and snacks made by celebrity chefs when they donate blood.
The deal is part of the Australian Red Cross Blood Service's 'Bloody Good Friday' campaign, which will see designated locations in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne open for 24 hours straight.
During the period of 7pm on Thursday, June 13 and 7pm on Friday, June 14, anyone can enter these centres and donate, with each donation going on to save three lives across the nation.

The blood service are hoping they can get 99,000 new donors in 2019 and anticipate that the enticement of delicious food will encourage people to drop by.
Those that attend on Friday will donate blood surrounded by live music and entertainment from a magician and caricature artist.
Celebrity chefs will be on hand to whip up bespoke post-donation snack, with Nelly Robinson from Nel. attending in Sydney, among others.

And finally a 'donor' kebab will be offered as a main course for those wanting a little extra sustenance on Thursday and Friday night.
Because the blood service is expecting an influx of customers you'll need to book in a time on their website to attend.
At present one in three Australians will need a blood donation at some point during their life, but only one in 30 people are donating.
In Sydney the centre will be at Town Hall, in Melbourne it will be Collin Street and Brisbane will need to visit the CBD base on Edward Street.
