United Progressive Alliance (UPA) chairperson Sonia Gandhi visited UP’s Rae Bareli on Wednesday to thank the people for electing her to Lok Sabha. This was her first visit to Rae Bareli after retaining her seat in the recently concluded General elections. Addressing Congress workers at the thanksgiving meet and dinner, Sonia expressed concern over the kind of doubts around India’s electoral process. Expressing her gratitude, she said that people of Rae Bareli were her family members. She added that she valued this relationship because this was an old and selfless bond.
