MILAN: Italy's biggest utility Enel is close to renewing its gas supply import deals with Algeria, two sources said on Tuesday.The new deals will be for a contractual period of less than 10 years and will probably be for an 8-year period, one of the sources said.
Enel did not comment.
Earlier on Tuesday Algerian state energy company Sonatrach signed a deal with Portugal's Galp to extend by 10 years a contract to supply gas to Portugal.
