9 golfers flying SA flag high at US Open

Cape Town - The 119th US Open gets under way at Pebble Beach Golf Links in California on Thursday.

This year there will be NINE South Africans in the field.

The only South African of the group to have won the US Open is Ernie Els, who triumphed in 1994 and 1997.
