A massive fire broke out in Noida's Bhanghel furniture market around midnight on Thursday.
A moving truck caught fire as it crossed the region. While it burned for approximately 10 minutes, a transformer nearby also caught it, escalating the situation.

The flames had then spread on to burn some of the shops in Banghel market.
The fire brigade reached the spot soon after the incident was reported.
The fire has been doused and the situation has been brought under control.

A senior police official said, "We are trying to control the situation."
No casuality has been reported, while the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
