A driver smeared ice cream on a speed camera van after he thought he'd been caught going too fast.
Zane Carney, 21, was travelling to meet a 'suicidal' friend when he 'spontaneously' threw ice cream at the car in Geelong in Victoria.
The camera operator watched as Carney pulled over and took photos of the speed camera before throwing and rubbing ice cream on the vehicle.

The 21-year-old represented himself and pleaded guilty to the road offence at Geelong District Court.
'I was on the way to see a friend who was suicidal - that's why I had the ice-cream,' he said, according to The Geelong Advertiser.
'It was spontaneous.'
Ironically, Carney had not been fined for speeding. He said he had received counselling since the incident.
Carney was arrested after the camera operator reported the ice cream incident to her supervisor.
Magistrate Peter Mellas convicted Carney and fined him $450.
'It's not just ice cream - people don't think these things through,' he said.
