Jaipur: Close shave for 198 flyers as SpiceJet flight suffers tyre burst

After landing it was found that one of the tyres had burst
JAIPUR: A SpiceJet flight with 198 people on board made an emergency landing at the Jaipur International Airport on Wednesday morning after one of its tyres burst mid-air. All passengers have been evacuated safely.
The Dubai-Jaipur flight landed in Jaipur at around 9am.

An official of Jaipur International Airport told TOI, "It was a scheduled flight to Jaipur and after taking off from Dubai, we were informed that it had developed a snag. After landing here it was found that one of the tyres had burst. None of the passengers or crew suffered any injuries and were evacuated safely."
The flight has been grounded for now and the return flight to Dubai has been cancelled for today.
