'Grave concerns' for young man missing off ore carrier in WA's North West

A young man has gone missing from a bulk ore carrier in WA’s North West.

The 23-year-old Indian national was last seen at the ship’s morning muster about 9.30am.

He was later reported missing about 1pm when he failed to appear for the afternoon muster.

The boat was anchored off Port Hedland Harbor at the time of his disappearance, and a large scale water and air search was launched to help locate him.
