Kids are often the hardest to please in any regular household. You offer them anything healthy and nutritious and they would run in a different direction. If your child is particularly fussy, best way is to not force anything upon him/her but tactful sneak in all things healthy in their diet. If they hate spinach, mash the leaves and hide them in a sandwich or pasta. If they cannot finish a glass of plain milk, treat them with healthy milk shakes instead. Similarly, if you are worried about their protein intake, you can make plenty of things using oats. Oats are rich in both protein and fibre. It keeps you full and prevents you from bingeing on anything oily, salty or sugary so soon. Now, the moment we think of oats, we picture cereal bowl with a handful of milk and oats mixed together. When you are dealing with children, it is always a good idea to up the presentation game a notch

These oats and nuts lollipops recipe by Mumbai-based YouTuber, Alpa Modi, shows us just how versatile oats can be. In addition to oats, these lollipops also have the goodness of jaggery or gud, nuts like almonds, pistachios, cashews and walnuts, sesame seeds, and ghee. The recipe uses no artificial sweetener or colours. These protein-packed lollipops are also good for brain due to presence of omega-3 fatty acids enriched nuts.
