Pool firing: Three held, search on for others

JAIPUR: Police have arrested three of the accused who fired in air at a swimming pool in Pratapnagar on Saturday. One of the accused, Ravi Meena, is an IAS aspirant and had allegedly fired to scare the pool owner.

Police is still looking for others who were with the accused at the time of the incident. The other accused arrested are Sonu and Devesh while search is on for the other accused. “There was a dispute between the accused and the employees of the complex where the swimming pool is situated over money. After the argument, the accused returned to the pool with 15 more youths and they fired in air to scare the employees.
We have arrested three and will soon arrest others as well,” said a police official. The pistol was also recovered from Devesh. Meena had recently appeared for the civil service examination.
