The IMD has cautioned that there is a likelihood that the depression formed on the south-east side of the Arabian Sea could develop into a cyclone. Now this storm is set to be on its peak on Thursday with winds gusting up to 135 kms per hour over the sea. Cyclone Vayu is likely to make landfall at the Saurashtra on the night of 12 June. IMD has also issued an orange alert and warned fishermen from venturing into the sea till June 13.
