Cape Town American TV stars continue to flock to Cape Town for a holiday - whether summer or winter.
Alison Sweeney (42), known for her role as Sami Brady on the American soap Days of Our Lives, is currently in the Mother City.
Alison's holiday coincides with the American actors Emily VanCamp and Josh Bowman who are also on vacation in Cape Town.
Alison arrived in Cape Town over the past weekend and already explored the V&A Waterfront and the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa with her mom Polly Sweeney and daughter Megan Sanov.
"We have arrived safely in Cape Town. And we hit the ground running to enjoy everything we could - also to ward off jet lag -- so maybe we were a bit loopy by the end but it was amazing," she wrote on Facebook on Sunday.
"Bike riding all along the waterfront, a tour through the Silo Museum, and a delicious dinner at the Silo Hotel. Now we need to try to get some sleep! We have another big day ahead."
On Monday she wrote "Today we toured the whole southern peninsula. There are such incredible vistas - and amazing wildlife! Baboons, penguins, seals and so much more".
