Hisar: Principal booked for molesting minor student

HISAR: The police have registered a case against the principal of a private school in Hansi town of the district for allegedly molesting a Class XII student.
The police said that a case has been registered at Hansi Women Police Station on the complaint of a 16-year-old girl of Class XII against the principal under the provisions of POCSO Act.
The victim has stated in her complaint that during the summer holidays, the school administration is holding extra classes. On June 4, when the class was over at around 11 am, the principal told her that her father had called him to say that he would be coming to pick her up, and asked her to wait until then in his office.
As she went to the principal’s office, he also came there and tried to hug her forcibly. But when she pushed him away and threatened to reveal the matter to his family, the principal started apologizing.
Thereafter, she left the school.
