Law Minister C.Ve. Shanmugam’s nephew was injured when the high-end motorcycle he was riding rammed the platform on the outer ring road (ORR) on Sunday.
The accident took place on the ORR junction, connecting Minjur and Vandalur, near Sikkarayapuram. Arjun, a second year MBBS student at SRMC, Kattankulathur, was riding the motorcycle wearing racing gear. He lost control of his vehicle and rammed the platform, sustaining severe injuries on both legs. He was admitted to a hospital in Porur.
The Poonamallee traffic investigation police have registered a case.
