Police are searching for the parents or carers of a toddler found on his own in the Perth CBD on Tuesday afternoon.

The young boy, believed to be 3 years old, was found alone by a member of the public at 3.45pm near the intersection of Wellington Street and Barrack Street.

The member of the public stayed with the boy and contacted police.

Perth police are currently caring for the child.

The boy has olive skin and black hair. He is wearing jeans and a black t-shirt.

The boy’s parents or carers are asked to call Police on 131 444.
