Transsion Holding’s online-exclusive sub-brand Infinix has announced Hot 7 Pro smartphone in India. The handset comes as a successor to the last year’s Infinix Hot 6 Pro, which was a decent smartphone for its price back then. The new Infinix Hot 7 Pro smartphone features a slightly larger screen, dual selfie cameras, and a whopping 4,000mAh battery. The handset is also touted as the first smartphone in its price segment to come with 6GB RAM and 64GB built-in storage.

Infinix Hot 7 Pro price, availability

The Infinix Hot 7 Pro comes at a sticker price of Rs 9,999 in India; however, as part of the launch offer, it can be purchased with an additional discount of Rs 1,000 to bring its retail price down to Rs 8,999 from June 17th to 21st. The handset will be available for sale only via Flipkart in Midnight Black and Aqua Blue colour options.

Infinix Hot 7 Pro specifications

Talking about the specifications, the Infinix Hot 7 Pro packs a 6.19-inch notch-toting display that bears HD+ resolution. The cut-out up top houses earpiece, proximity sensor, and dual front-facing cameras with 13-megapixel (f/2.0) + 2-megapixel sensors for selfies and video calling. The dual-facing cameras of the phone sport the same sensors as the front cameras, except the main 13-megapixel sensor, which has an f/1.8 aperture lens. The cameras are backed by AI technology for bokeh, gender recognition, age, facial expression, and beauty mode.

The Infinix Hot 7 Pro is driven by MediaTek’s Helio P22 mobile platform paired with 6GB of RAM and 64GB user-expandable storage. The handset runs Android 9 Pie-based XOS 5.0 out of the box. A 4,000mAh battery rated to last up to 27 hours on talk time fuels the Infinix Hot 7 Pro smartphone. Other features include a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, 3.5mm headphone jack, GPS, and micro-USB port for charging.
