Tension prevailed in a land related grievance meeting held in Tiruvallur district after the DMK Tiruvallur district secretary, Avadi Nazar, had raised the issue of the proposed TIDEL Park in the western suburbs claiming that the state government was abstaining from providing full data in connection with the same.

The Jamabandi, that commenced on June 7 across the state by the respective district revenue departments, was held in Avadi over the weekend when this issue was raked up again. However, district revenue officials claimed they had all the necessary documents related to the TIDEL Park and will reveal them to the public soon. Nazar had earlier obtained information under RTI in which it was revealed that the district revenue officials did not have any clarity over the project.
