Chicago Residents Wake Up To Nasty Surprise, Poop On Their Door Handles

A lot of things can go wrong in the morning, but waking up to find someone’s poop on your door handle is probably enough to make you wish your coffee was Irish.

Unfortunately, it’s something Chicago residents have experienced firsthand.

According to NBC 5, multiple people in the city’s Bridgeport neighborhood have reported finding poop on their door handles. This appears to have been going on for awhile as police told the station that a woman filed a report last month indicating someone was spreading feces all over their car.

She managed to film the incident and so did Tony Wu, whose Lexus had poop smeared on the windshield and door handle. As he described in breathless detail, “I saw the initial splatter on the front windshield and it was smeared in a deliberate way.”

It remains unclear if the attacker is targeting luxury vehicles, but it’s possible as several different Mercedes crossovers have been hit.  In particular, the station spoke to Jack Chen who said one of his friend’s Mercedes had poop on “almost every door handle.”

Police are investigating and residents are understandably upset. Some victims have even been hit multiple times at this point. Unsurprisingly, they’re hoping the person will be caught – even if that happens to be red (or brown) handed.
