A speeding driver has been hit with 24 demerit points at once after he was caught keeping up with the cricket score at the wheel.
The cricket fanatic was pulled over by police on the Cumberland Highway in Smithfield, New South Wales, at about 10.10pm on Sunday.
He was caught going 96 km/h in a 70 km/h zone.
The driver, 33, had secured his mobile phone to his steering wheel, which showed live updates of the Australia v India match.

'Sir, you can't have that,' the police officer says in the video recorded by NSW Police.
'That is so dangerous. I have never that before in my life.'
A two-year-old child was also found unrestrained in the back of the car.
The Liverpool man was issued with three infringement notices totalling 24 demerit points.
Double demerits points have been in force in NSW and the ACT from midnight Thursday June 6 and will apply until midnight on Monday June 10.
Double demerit points apply for speeding, seat belt, motorcycle helmet and mobile phone offences.
If a motorist is caught using their phone during a double demerit period, they will be hit with a fine and up to 10 demerits.
