The owner of a well known pub is taking on the Tal-y-Cafn in the Conwy Valley with plans for a revamp ahead of reopening.
The pub in Conwy Valley was re-opened in 2016 after a major renovation - six years after it originally shut. General manager Graham Higgins took over the running of the site last year.
But around three weeks ago the inn closed with signs in the windows saying it is shut for "kitchen maintenance".

Now the owner of The Toad pub in Rhos-on-Sea, Peter Hammond, has revealed he has signed a lease to take on the site.
He said he planned to return the site to a proper country pub and has started recruiting a team of 15 staff.

Over the coming weeks the pub will be repainted and some changes made to the interior ahead of it reopening.
It is expected to open later this month or in early July.

Mr Hammond, who has successfully run The Toad for 14 years, said he was looking forward to taking on the site.
The site was bought from Punch Taverns by EPM-UK after its closure in 2010.
They spent £1m on a renovation of the 200-year-old building before opening it again in 2016.
