C7 bungalow used to be the CM’s bungalow but now lays abandoned

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has opted to continue residing at his current address and politely turned down the state's offer to reside in his allotted bungalow — located at the capital's Polytechnic Crossroads and popularly known as C7 — as it is rumoured to bring ill-health.

Previously, former external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj was allocated the bungalow after her two wins from Vidisha. While she lived there for almost 10 years, during the end of her tenure in 2019, she fell gravely ill with a renal ailment and has been sick since.

C7 was known to be the first Chief Minister's bungalow since the establishment of the state, but it now lays in decrepit abandon as there are murmurs of it bringing ill-health.
