As per Bryan Loden, HMSHost Vice President of Business Development, Wigle Whiskey Tasting Room is the perfect stop for PIT visitors and locals alike to enjoy award-winning spirits, along with a creatively crafted menu before or after their flight. HMSHost is thankful to the Allegheny County Airport Authority and Fraport USA for continued partnership to enhance the traveller dining experience. The opening is in partnership with Allegheny County Airport Authority, Fraport USA, and global restaurateur HMSHost.
While watching out the planes over the airport tarmac, travellers can relax with Wigle’s spirits served in flights or by the glass, along with signature cocktails, and Pittsburgh’s own Threadbare Cider and Mead beer including the Bouquet de Rose.
The newest airport restaurant also brings Wigle Whiskey’s fun vibe and atmosphere into the concourse. The design evokes a sense of its distillery and tasting rooms throughout the region.Travelers are greeted by Wigle’s signature vibrant colors throughout the restaurant and bar area, along with Whiskey Rebellion art graphics lining the exposed brick walls.
