Can't nobody tell me nothin! In the adorable clip Daniel is seen humming along then chiming in for the chorus saying 'old town road'
The mom, who hosts the podcast Two Haute on WCCO radio, shared video of the special moment where the little boy appears concentrated as he hums and right on cue says 'old town road' on beat with the rapper.
She was shocked because Daniel has been enrolled in speech therapy from an early age but has remained mostly nonverbal.
'He just hasn't responded well to the therapy. Nothing we've tried has given us the results that we saw with the other children. ... We were beating our head up against the wall,' Brundidge said to The Tennessean.
She has four children, three of whom are diagnosed with autism, but the others besides Daniel are fully verbal.
But then something clicked.
'It was just a hum at first. I was like, 'Oh my god, he's singing 'Old Town Road.' Then he started saying the words. This is a child who hasn't said three or four words together in the time he's been alive,' she added.

Overwhelmed, Brundidge burst into tears to hear her son sing.
'It's such a breakthrough. It took us six months for us to teach him the letter A. Without any teaching, he was able to listen to it, absorb it, memorize it and then recall it,' she aid.
'All this money we spent on therapists and doctors and supplements ... and "Achy Breaky Heart" is the one who brought my son the breakthrough that he needed,' she added, citing Billy Ray Cyrus's 1992 country hit.
She immediately called Daniel's therapists and asked them to incorporate the song in his therapy moving forward. They'll also incorporate music therapy into Daniel's daily routine, hoping to have similar success with other tunes.
