Nagpur:
Purva Titarmare, a Somalwar Ramdaspeth student, scored 97.2% despite all the financial hurdles in her way. “My father passed away when I was very young. My mother works to support my education. I belong to a very lower middle class family with a meagre income. I have always been inclined towards academics and my mother always supports me in everything,” she says.
Her class teacher Sonali Hinge says, “Purva is a bright girl. She worked very hard from day one. We always encouraged her whenever she would find the going tough. She is a simple girl with extraordinary intellect. We also supported her with study material and test series. We are extremely proud of her triumph.”
When asked about how she prepared for the exam, Purva said she somehow managed to enrol for a crash course and studied there. “I did self-study for 8-9 hours. My teachers, especially the class teacher who gave me all the required notes, played a pivotal role in my success,” she says.
“I aspire to become an engineer. My mother has always inspired me to do better in life. I give all the credit of my success to my mother and teachers,” she says.
