Punjab chief minister Captain
Amarinder Singh has kept Navjot Singh Sidhu out of the eight consultative groups he has formed to review the state government’s ongoing flagship programmes.
The move indicates that Amarinder is still unhappy with Sidhu for his “ill-timed” remarks against him during the run up to the recently-concluded Lok Sabha elections. Apart from ministers Sidhu and Om Prakash Soni, the other 16 members of the council of ministers, including the CM, are members of one group or the other.
