In a joint raid, Delhi government's excise department and police busted a 'rave party' held at Dhan Mill compound in South Delhi on Sunday early morning.
Delhi police confirmed that more than 600 men and women, including minors, were held during the raid. The party was organised in the name of a French DJ who was performing in the city.
The team recovered two luxury cars, large quantity of liquor and a white powder substance suspected to be drug from the venue. The samples will be checked for verification.
“We had got an information about such a rave party being held in South Delhi. A raid was carried out on Sunday early morning after which around 600 persons were held from the spot,” said a police officer.
The officer said that 16 persons who had organised the party have been detained for questioning while rest were allowed to go. All persons were from Delhi-NCR.
