Singers give spectators treat of melodious songs

Nagpur: Melodious songs were presented at a programme organized by Sound of Music at Utkarsh Hall of Mor Bhavan at Sitabuldi on Friday.
The show started with Babubhai Patel singing ‘Zindagi ka safar’ as a tribute to the first wife of singer Kishore Kumar Ruma Guha Thakurta, who passed away on June 3.
This was followed by ‘Badi mushkil hai’, sung by Aakash Patel. Bhagyashree Kulkarni then presented ‘Tumse mohabbat ho gayi hai’.
The singers engaged the audience with songs like ‘Unse mili nazar ke’, ‘Haal kya hai’, ‘Mohabbat baras’, ‘Main tenu samjhawa ki’, ‘Dil main ho’, ‘Duniya kare sawal’, ‘Tera mera pyar amar’, ‘Tune o rangeele kaisa’, ‘Deekhai diye yun’, ‘Maana ho tum’, ‘Mujhko bhi lift karade’, ‘Dard-e-dil’, ‘Aji rooth ke’ and ‘Mere naina sawan bhado’.
The singers were Piyush Shinde, Sangeeta Karmarkar, Sanjay Pilley, Tanmay Pilley, Pinki Kshatriya, Neetu Kewalramani, Aakash Patel, Seema Luha, Paromita Das Roy, Keerti Patel, Bhagyashree Kulkarni.
The audience tapped feet and sang with singers when songs ‘Ashain kahe’, ‘Woh sham kuchh ajeeb’, ‘Mujhe ishq hai’, ‘Tu iss tarah’, ‘Parda hai parda’ and ‘Badi mushkil hai’.
Neetu Kewalramani and Aakash Patel presented the first duet song of the evening ‘Maine ye dil’. This was followed by Sangeeta and Sanjay presenting ‘Chhod do anchal’, followed by ‘Teri ummid tera’ by Bhagyashree and Aakash.
‘Wada kar le saajna’ from movie Haath Ki Safai, presented beautifully by Seema and Aakash, was followed by ‘Bin tere sanam’ by Aakash and Neetu. Sanjay and Bhagyashree sang ‘Yahi tum mujhase’ while Aakash and Bhagyashree presented ‘Sagar kinare’.
The event was anchored by Om Prakash Sahu and Pinki Kshatriya. The event was conceptualized by Babubhai Patel.
