Suburban train services to be hit due to mega block on Sunday

MUMBAI: Suburban train services will be affected due to maintenance and infrastructure upgradation work on Central and Western Railway lines on Sunday.
“On main line, block will be taken between Kalyan and Ambernath from 10am to 4pm for replacement of girder by slab of bridge between Ulhasnagar and Ambernath. During the block period, suburban services will remain suspended between Kalyan and Badlapur and special services will run between Badlapur and Karjat,” said CR spokesperson.
On Harbour line, block will be held between CSMT-Chunabhatti and Bandra between 11.10am to 4.10pm.
However, special services will run between Panvel and Kurla (Platform No.8) during the block period.
On WR, block will be taken on 5th line between Santacruz and Goregaon stations from 10.35am to 3.35pm.
