Bangladesh won the toss and opted to bowl against England here at Sophia Gardens on Saturday.
England, who started this World Cup as favourites, kicked off their campaign with a 104-run battering of South Africa at the Oval. However, in their next encounter against Pakistan, the hosts suffered a shocking 14-run defeat while chasing a target of 349.
For Bangladesh, defeat to New Zealand was ultimately an agonising affair, but they go into this game with as many points as the hosts and under no great pressure against one of the favourites.
The top order has been in relatively good form, although they might need to find more wicket-taking options in the middle overs.
